what does this line in cairokee's "dinosaur" mean?
this song makes (for the most part) total sense to me except the fourth line in the first verse:
سقف الإنبهار فيها فرتك الترنك
somebody on a lyrics-translation site has written "it's amazings' things destroyed the music" for this line, which makes little sense to me. i also can't figure out which word means what. here's what i've got so far...
سَقْف = a ceiling
اِنْبَهَار = to be overwhelmed ... but this doesn't seem like a verb in this sentence
فيها isn't a problem for me
فرتك ... no idea on this word.
ترنك ... i have no idea, and some lyrics sites have it as ترينج which is also mysterious to me. all i have found is that تُرُنْج turung means 'lemons.' this last word also has quotation marks around it on some sites, which makes me think it is an english loanword (i know it does not look like an arabic word).
thank you in advance!
هيفرتك الترنك is a quote from a sex phone call in which the man said الانترلوب هيفرتك الترنك he was trying to say الانترلوب which is his male part هيفرتك is going to tear الترنك his training suit.now back to the song سقف الانبهار هيفرتك الترنك which means every time I believe there can be no more surprises and we've reached the peak,it turns out that there is still more and سقف الانبهار is still rising so its going to يفرتك الترنك .I hope you get the pun.
