Question Words in Korean How and where are question words most naturally placed?

I know that it is most natural to place it between the object and verb.

피자를 언제 먹었어?

But what if the sentence is composed of an object (noun), (-하다) verb, and main verb?

* 영어 (noun)-공부하다 > 공부하기- 시작하다

* 영어- 배우다-시작하다

Where will question words (maybe 언제/어디) be most naturally placed?

*English translation for reference: When/Where did you start studying/learning English?*

It doesn't matter as long as the when/where is palced before the verb. In English, the order and arrangement of words are important, but in Korean, it is not so supper important and it has more flexibility, so there is not only one fixed rule, but there may be many options you can choose. But putting when/where/how after verb can be weird :)

"언제" 영어 공부를(배우기를) 시작했어? 영어 공부를(배우기를) 언제 "시작했어"? If you want to emphasize 언제(When) itself, you should put in the beginning. However if you want to focus on 시작하다(start), you can put before start. "언제" 피자를 먹었어? ok 피자를 언제 "먹었어"? ok
