Note: am einfachsten = the easiest way, and is an ADVERB, not an adjective.

The  meaning of "am einfachsten" is " the simplest way"or "the easiest way".
Du kannst ruhig beide benutzen "des" oder "eines"
- 'der Erwerb des Führerscheins' : In this case the license is defined using the definite article and in the case of 'der Erwerb eines Führerscheins' it is not defined and both apply in this example.
In some other cases you can only use either one or the other .

Both is possible "des Führerscheins" or "eines Führerscheines"
I think that depends on the assumption of the possibility to get more than ohne driver licenze.
In the common use you talk just about a car driver license, but there are also driver licenses for motorcycle, trucks or bus.
