T_T' EDIT - a belated realisation that it might be easier just to ask in English... Essentially: (aside from repeated characters) when does tonal change in Mandarin occur, what are the tonal changes and in what contexts do they occur? Follow up question that occurred to me: do isolated/separated tonal changes occur at all, like in Cantonese?
