What is the use of [的] at the end of a sentence?
I am a complete beginner at Chinese.
I recently learnt 1 use of [的, de ] and that is "of" (possessive).
But, I sometimes I hear or see sentences that ends with [的, de ].
For example, I saw this question asked at Italki by someone: 我的课文是对的?
What is the use/application of this in Chinese?
Thanks in advance!

This is really a tough question. And yes, I know about it. It's a challenge for you to grasp as the preposition for me to learn. 我的课文是对的?equal to "my text is correct ?(Is my text correct ?)". 的 here states both interrogtive and status as well as adjective. Interrogative, Is the text correct or not ?
Status, the Text itself its formation correct or not ? Is it make sense or not ? Does this kind of formations exist ?
Adjective,is the text the correct one, not the false one? It's a little bit similar with the interrogative. But a little bit hope that it's the correct one. I hope that is the correct one, but not sure. So I asked.
