Is it correct to say "to set a password for a computer entry"? I am not sure if it's linguistically correct to say: If parents do not want their children to waste too much time online, they shoul set a password for a computer entry. How should it sound naturally?

If parents do not want their children to *spend* too much time online, they should set a password on the computer to restrict their children's access.

Perhaps, 'use a password to restrict access' might work in this situation.
