What is the best way to practice conversation with teenagers that are at a beginner level
I'm thinking of finding interesting photos and asking the student to describe in detail what the photo represents, also we did a couple of tongue twisters that were super fun!!! just wondering if some of the other teachers have some tips

Asking students to discuss their favorite shows and movies is also a topic that usually encourages a lot of productive converastion. If you want to structure it more, you can also screen a short film or short video and ask the class to discuss certain themes from the media.

Most teenagers have some smart digital vocabulary around web pages, games, social media etc. 
You can try discussing emojis and what they represent.
