Raise / had raised / or have raised?
I wonder what tense do you use when you talk about a mother raising a kid. I'm not sure if "raise" has hidden usage like timeline.
If raise is used to mean take care of kids until they can take care of themselves right, then it's past perfect tense. (if the son is now a grown-up)
Or a mother 's supposed to raise their kids throughout their lives and thus, use present tense and present perfect?
Thank you.
For example,
Your son grows up to be a good person because you...............him well. (now the son is 35 years old)
A) raise
B) have raised
C) had raised
Thank you!
