What does "coat glove" mean? I thought it's a glove that should fit the coat you wear, but it seems it's something else.

Hi Sasha Do you think the phrase could be 'coated glove' rather than 'coat glove'? In English, when you 'coat' something in something else it means you put a thin layer on top - so a coated glove could mean a glove that has a think layer of another kind of material on top e.g. some kind of plastic to make it more hygienic or to help the glove grip better. To help you understand the meaning of 'coat' better: in another context, you could have a doughnut coated in chocolate or sugar, for example. Ellie.

This seems to be a comment about style. "... a glove should fit [go with, match] the coat ..."
