「写真」と「画像」とは違いはありますか？

Samuel さんのprofile pictureは、画像ですが、写真ではありません。
Heidiさんのそれは、画像であり、また写真でもあります。
写真 must be made using a camera.
画像については、「自力発光型のディスプレイ上に映し出された静止画、あるいはそうして映し出すことが可能なデータ」というのが私の定義です。
