Which sentence sounds most proper among the following sentences?
Hi there, Could someone please tell me which sentence sounds most proper among the following sentences? 1.Perpetual youth and long life are the dream of human beings. However, if the dream came true, the earth would become full of people. 2. People dream OF everlasting youth and long life, but if this should become possible, the world would be overcrowded with people. 3.People dream of eternal youth and immortality , but if this ever became a reality, the earth would overflow with people. 4.People have long dreamed of everlasting youth and long life, but if everyone were to attain this, this planet would be overrun with people.. 3 has incorrect grammar.
1 sounds a little odd.
2 and 4 are fine.
I don't think 'proper' is really meaningful. But then again that is possibly a cultural difference between here and Japan.

1 feels a little strange although not incorrect, the other 3 are all good but, for me, 4 is the best
