Precious or exquisit?
I'm trying to say that this book is very pedagogical and well written. Which adjective is better?
This book is awfully precious.
This book is quite exquisite.
How can I find the right adjective in such a case?

Definitely not "precious."
"Exquisite" is better than "precious" but English speakers wouldn't really say that about a book. Maybe just something like "valuable"--or a phrase like "exceedingly well written."

It’s not clear what you mean. You can say of a book
“The writing is exquisite.”
“The book is exquisitely written”
“The book is exquisite.” (Possible)
But that doesn’t have anything to do with “pedagogical”. You can always look up the meaning of large, rarely used words in a dictionary.
