Yes, you can use both in similar situation.
추리다 (예: 버려진 것 중에서 쓸 만한 것을 추렸다.)
- 섞여 있는 것에서 여럿을 뽑아내거나 골라내다.
가려내다 (예: 생산품 중에서 불량품을 가려냈다.)
1. 여럿 가운데서 일정한 것을 골라내다.
2. 진리나 가치 따위를 밝혀내다.
