MACBETH! MACBETH! Yesterday, I watched a movie, Ghost Lights, released in 2018. It was a horror comedy movie of a Scottish play, Macbeth, written by Shakespeare. It was considered ominous/cursed to utter the word 'Macbeth'. Is there any significance to the play or the word Macbeth, or is it just a fictional play? Is it kind of an tale with morals/teachings for adults analogous to fable written for kids? Fell free to share your opinions.

I understand that many actors have a bit of a superstition about Shakespeare's play 'Macbeth'. They consider it bad luck to refer it by name and so refer to it in some other way, such as 'The Scottish Play'. Possibly because of they amount of witchcraft in the play
