"There is nobody" or "there is nobody there"? Why?

"There is nobody there" this refers to nobody at a particular location. "Is there anyone at the door? There is nobody there" "I went to the meeting but there was nobody there." On the other hand you could say "There is nobody to do (something)"

There is nobody = there is literally not another human present other than ones self. “There is nobody there” means that, at your present location, there isn’t anyone but you
