What is the difference between landscape and scenery ?
I looked up the definitions in the dictionary , they are pretty similar to each other . I don’t know about the difference between them .
For example ,
I can say “ the scenery is gorgeous in this park “ but can I say “ the landscape is gorgeous in this park ?”
Thanks a lot .

They are very similar and can be used interchangeably in most instances and your 2 sentences are both ok. Bear in mind that landscape can also be used in the context of gardening (to landscape an area) and in a more general sense of the non physical environment eg you might hear of a landscape of oppression which would be a culture of oppression

Scenery is talking about the surroundings; the trees, the flowers, mountains, clouds, and so on.
Landscape would be talking about the maintenance and upkeep of the things. How well the trees were trimmed, how green they appeared. How well the flowers looked.
Scenery can encompass a broad sense of the surroundings, while landscape would be focused more on the immediate area.
