Speaking as an Engineer: As Chris said for 1-4, but 3 is rarely used, and 4 is almost never used. As Greg said, 5-8 are actually the same as 1-4, but written in a strange way, so you say them the same as Chris's 1-4. 9 is 'per second'. 10: kilogram squared Amps per metre squared per second cubed. 11 is the same, the algebra is just written a different way.

1. m/s m divided by s. 2. m/s^2 m divided by s squared. 3. m/s^3 m divided by s cubed. 4. m/s^4 m divided by s raised to the fourth power. 5. m·s ^-1 Here, a little maths understanding can simplify it. This is the same as m/s or m divided by s 6. m·s ^-2 As above with simplification it is m divided by s squared (m/s^2) 7. m·s ^-3 m divided by s cubed (m/s^3) 8. m·s ^-4 m divided by s raised to the 4th power. (m/s^4) 9. s ^-1 one over s, or 1 divided by s (1/s) 10. kg^2·A/(m^2·s^3) Assuming kg = weight. Weight squared multiplied by A and then divided by m squared times s cubed. 11. kg^2·A·m^-2·s^-3 If you simplify this, it is the same as #10.

Other people might have other ways. 1. meters per second || scalar: speed; vector: velocity 2. meters per second squared || acceleration 3. meters per second cubed || jerk 4. meters per second to the fourth || snap or jounce m/s^5=meters per second to the fifth || crackle m/s^6=meters per second to the sixth || pop 5 meters times seconds to the negative one 6 meters times seconds to the negative two OR meters times seconds to the negative second 7. meters times seconds to the negative tree OR meters times seconds to the negative third 8 meters times seconds to the negative four OR meters times seconds to the negative fourth 9: seconds to the negative one 10. kilogram squared amperes (OR amps) per meter squared second cubed 11: kilogram squared ampere meters to the negative two, seconds to the negative negative three OR kilogram squared ampere meters up minus two, seconds minus three OR "kay gee squared A em to the minus two ess to the minus three" Once we got to a derived unit like 11, I personally would never say the actual names off the units--I would just say the letters and numbers
