"to pull" is an action verb of motion and the opposite of "to push" (its a simple word but it has alot of idiomatic / metaphoric other meanings that I think your asking about) "to pull" a group of people means: to do all / most of the work in a group (and make the group succesfull) Examples: "I pulled the whole team" [I did all the work for the team to be succesful] "our squad pulled the whole platoon" "I pulled my study group to the top of the class" In this sentence is is POSSIBLE that the meaning can mean "to pull" (as in physically force something towards oneself, opposite of "to push") But it is very unlikely and would need context like if the crew was falling off a cliff and they needed help. It likely has the idiomatic meanings Foreman "I gotta pull my crew" [I need to do all the work so my crew can be succesful] It can also be short for these phrases: related terms with slightly different meanings: "to pull ___ together" "to pull together ____" "to pull ___ up" "to pull / drag ____ down" "to pull a / an _____" "to pull the strings" It can also mean "to get" / "to fetch" in colloquial (almost slang) talk I would say the sentence might need more context.
