What does "brilliant" and "in between times"mean in the sentence below?
1.He often won over the majority by his 【brilliant】speeches.
2.He was better at canvassing support for himself 【in between times】.
Brilliant means more than excellent or superb.
In between times means space or a period of time from when one thing happens to the next (interval). For example: I conduct lessons on italki, and in between times I study.
