I am having a hard time doing something (meaning)
I would like to know the meaning of the expression "I am having a hard time doing something." I wonder if it means one of the following meanings or both.
- I am having difficulty with something AT THE MOMENT/NOW
- I have difficulty with something EVERY TIME THAT I HAVE TO DO SOMETHING
Example:
1. I am having a hard time typing on the computer.

Generally, this is used to mean at the moment. For example, if I were outside on a busy street and got a phone call, I might say: "I'm having a hard time hearing you. Can I call you back in a little while?"
I hope that helps!
