Grammar Help! 안다고 보다
I was watching a video today and saw this sentence, “특히 한국어 배우시는 분들은 거의 다 안다고 보는데 영어를 배우는 한국분들은 모르시는 분들이 있을 것 같아요. 많을 거 같애요.“ Which translated as “Especially most of those learning Korean know her, I think, but, Koreans learning English may not know you.”
I’m mainly confused with the “안다고 보다” part. It said that it means “assume that they know” but I’ve never seen this kind of structure before. I know 다고 has to do with quoting but I’m not for sure if it’s being used this way here. Is this grammar form commonly used?
Thanks!!

보다 in 안다고 보다 means "assume/estimate"
-다고 or -다는 is used for indirect quotation
NOUN + -라고 → VERB + -다고
NOUN + -(이)라는 + NOUN → VERB + -(ㄴ/는/었)다는 + NOUN
VERB + -(ㄴ/는/았)다고 + 말하다/하다/쓰다/적다/부르다/보다/생각하다etc
