Tutor de la comunidadHow to take notes effectively when learning a language?
I've been learning English myself for a long time. I used to like to take notes with paper notebooks, I write down the words and grammar I don't know, and sentences I saw in books or movies.
But I find that taking notes this way doesn't work very well, because it takes a while to find the content I need, and I can't take my notebook out every day.
So how do you take notes effectively? Are there any useful tools to recommend?

I will tell 5 basic rules on how to take notes efficiently whether you're using paper or an app....
1. DEVELOP LOGICAL SECTIONS🧘♀️
This will make it easier for U to navigate and cut down on wasted time and space.
Some possible sections U might want to include:
● Goals🏅 ● Grammar👨🏭🏗 ● Vocab with examples👩💻 ● idioms or phrases you hear.👩🎤

2. DEDICATE ENOUGH SPACE FOR EACH SECTION

3. 🚦USE COLOR CODING ...A LOT🚦
You can specify a certain color pen of highlighter to every subject.
----------------------------------------------
For example I use a red pen to make ( 🔴 ) beside the vocab that I didn't learn yet and A black one just like that (⚫) for the vocab I've mastered and that one ( ⊙ ) for the vocab that needs practice and when I'm done practicing it I just color the whole circle or dot in black
This is a fast way for me, you can use another ways of colouring or colored pens or highlighters.
( There are tons of videos on YouTube that you can watch on how to take notes and photos on pinterest that can inspire U 🤩 )

4. LEAVE WIDE MARGIN ON THE SIDES to add info later

5. DIVIDE THE NOTEBOOK INTO SECTIONS AND MAKE A REFERENCE.

Thank you, Michael! It's very helpful! I will try Evernote to see if it works for me.

There is a lot of software available to help, I tend to use a word processor and store notes in text files, using folder names as a filing system. It works for me, but it's not very efficient. I'll put a couple of links here, in the hope you can access them :) If you can't, evernote and onenote seem to get good reviews and have free options evernote.com onenote.com
I don't know either of these apps!
