Why is it "that was you" not "that is you"?

When you use the present perfect (have met) you are speaking in the past.

Umm. This is one of the lines from the movie, The Intern.
One of the characters says to his wife, "If I've ever met anyone who doesn't need a boss, that was you."

Anyone is not the correct word to use in this example. It should be "someone" because you are referencing a specific individual. Also, "that was you" is also incorrect. It should be "that would be you". The phrase " that was you" could be a statement of fact or a question.
For example: If I said " I put the fake snake in the teacher's desk". You might ask " That was you"? Indicating your astonishment at finding out who the culprit was. If I asked "Who put the fake snake in the teacher's desk"? You might reply " That was you". Indicating my guilt.
