ONE TO ONE TEACHING ACTIVITIES!!
Hello everyone!
In fact this is not a question but a request...
I´m giving private lessons to a 10-year-old girl
and I´ve come to realize that it is very hard to
teach her all the grammatical aspects which is
boring stuff. So i´m looking for some activities,
maybe games that may help (me) to provide her a better
understanding in the english language.
I´m not native nor is she... Besides her classes
at school are 80% based on grammar although I want her
to learn english but not just grammar, but if I don´t teach her
grammar she won´t do well at school, so I am buffled!!!
PLEASE HELP!!!

There are some websites that in addition to selling such materials also provide some free, printable resources such as worksheets that you might find very helpful that review concepts via fun, game-like activities.
www.eslkidslab.com is one,
www.eslprintables.com is another-I believe this one is free but to download you may have to submit at least one contribution of your own.
http://www.learn4good.com/languages/evr_english_grammar.htm is another one but that section is really grammar for older students it probably would be better just going to www.learn4good.com/languages and browsing the English selections from there.
yourdictionary.com/grammar-rules/english-grammar-games.html has a number of resources , most of them online, I don't remember which ones, if any are printable.
http://www.esl-galaxy.com/lessons.htm has some links for printable games and worksheets designed for kids.
Any or all of these sites would make good additions to your tutoring collection and I am sure there are other ones as well.
I hope those help.
Best of luck,
Meir

hi Pabllot,
teaching a child is not an easy task. your objective here is to make your lesson lively and interesting to that child. I strongly agree with you that a child can learn easily and be creative by applying games to your lessons. you can also use a colorful cartoon or kids show as a tool that would certainly attracts her attention and creates an interest.
try also this site:
