Telling time in Korean 아침, 오전, 오후, 저녁 and 밤 what exact times does each cover? Telling time in Korean, 아침, 오전, 오후, 저녁 and 밤 what times does each cover? What time do you stop using 아침 and start using 오전? when does 오후 stop and 저녁 start (I'm guessing 6pm?) When does 저녁 stop and 밤 start?

What time do you stop using 아침 and start using 오전? : 아침 is same in English 'morning' , 오전 is same with morning. that mean 'before at noon' when does 오후 stop and 저녁 start (I'm guessing 6pm?) : 오후 is same in English 'afternoon' 저녁 is same in English 'evening', 'dusk' When does 저녁 stop and 밤 start? : 저녁 is evening ( before sunset ) 밤 is night ( after sunset )

To tell time, you use * the Pure Korean number for the hour, followed by * the classifier for hours, si. If there are any minutes, follow this with: * the Sino-Korean number of minutes and * the word for minutes, pun Examples: 5:20 = taseossi @isippun 7:43 = @ilgopsi sasipsampun 2:15 = dusi sip@opun 1:39 = hansi samsipkupun Notice in the last two examples that the pure Korean hour has changed form before the si.
