What is a good...? Sentence structure in Chinese.
When speaking Chinese how would one ask "what is a good..." like website, restaurant etc.
I was thinking "什么是一个好..." but I think I am thinking too much in English grammar.

to answer this question lets look at it more formal.. in english u can say. can you recommend me a good blah blah blah?

in chinese you can say

你能给我推荐一个好。。。。吗？in chinese english. You can give me recommend one good blahblah?

but when you say it in chinese remember to change the measure word to fit the good item u want.

For example 你能给我推荐一本好书吗？ Can you recommend me a good book?

I am sorry that I don't make sense of what situation were you expecting to use "what is a good..."
If you were asking for a definition of "a good website/restaurant", I think you could say "什么样的网站/餐馆是一个好网站/餐馆呢？"
