What does "couch potato" mean in the forrowing sentences?
1. Being a couch potato, is not our natural state.
2.The last thing I want to do is to share a place with a couch potato.
These sentences are from my exercise book,I don't know how to translate them!
Thanks for you time!

If you put a potato on a couch it just sits there and does nothing else.
Such a person is called a "couch potato".

a couch potato would best be translated as "lazy" it refers to someone who is lazy/irresponsible and just sits on the couch watching TV all day.

A "couch potato" usually spends his/her time watching TV or playing video games. He/she does no exercise. If you are an active or sporty person then you would not have much in common with a "couch potato."

They are not very good sentences for a language learning textbook, I don't think.
We would probably say, "It is not natural to be a couch potato".
And it's "following", not "forrowing"
:)
