sleep like a spoon
Hello, I've heard in a song the expression "sleep like a spoon" (Lisa Hannigan-I don't know). Does anybody know what it means?

Most likely the song is referring to "spooning." Two people sleeping in the same bed will both sleep facing in the same direction, usually on their side. They will sleep next to each other with their bodies adjusting to the contours of each other's body. Like spoons in a drawer.

Two people sleeping, each on their side facing the same direction. Something like cuddling... hugging. Your upper body is straight while your legs are a little curved ... like a spoon !!!!! ... Yes, it's romantic, but you can "spoon" your friends (if they are sad, sick or whatever), family ... even the dog !!! =D Dogs love it ! ... ok, me too ! ^^ It's really sweet.

Thanks Dark Panther, this question broke my mind at first glance. :) Your explanation makes sense now.
I just checked the lyrics, funny how she sings that in the singular sense, as spooning requires two (or more???) participants.
And guess what was being advertised on the lyrics page....!! They're definitely watching us. :P
