est是动词être的第三人称单数形式，中文意思是“是”，英文意思是is。
il est 他是 he is
elle est 她是 she is
c'est(ce est) 它/这/那是 it is
qu'est(que est) 什么是(常见于问句) what is
C'est la vie. 这就是生活。
