For haricots verts I would actually say "green beans". Fève seems to be "lima beans". So write them as types of bean.
If someone simply said "beans" I would actually think of kidney beans. I wonder which beans other people think of first?

Hi, there are 76 different kinds of beans such as vanilla beans, coffee beans, lima beans, green/purple/yellow beans, broad beans and many more. If you google the phrase "different types of beans pictures" you will also see the photos of beans.

I think it's more likely you're talking about "haricots" than "fèves". In Mexico at least, haricots (frijoles in spanish) are a staple in our diet.
Fèves (habas) are also popular, but much less than haricots. Fèves are called broad beans or fava beans in english, and are bigger than most beans.
