В каждом языке есть своя прелесть и завораживающие моменты. Язык как человек. Какой самый красивый человек в мире? Может быть этот человек и не самый красивый, но какие-то черты вас в нем привлекают, завораживают, и тогда вам до остальных нет никакого дела. Так и с языком.

It depends on who is using it! Shakespeare did a great job with English. So did Shelley. On the other hand, George Bush didn't make it look so good. On that account, Russian suffers pretty badly. (I wonder if anyone gets that joke.) So does Chinese. In fact, I can't think of any language that some idiot hasn't made look bad. German was widely loved in Europe until you-know-who messed it all up. I can't speak a word of Russian, so I am clueless there. But just seeing it in print puts me off already. For sound and appearance together, Japanese comes top of the table!

I love the Russian language.... I think that if you are learning a language and really enjoy it then that is always the most important thing. Learning a language is fun and can provide a shared interest with new friends around the world.
