Hi, Jasmine! Rotten Tomatoes is an American website where film critics review movies and TV shows. Generally, if a movie or show has a high rating on Rotten Tomatoes, then you know it's going to be good! I hope this helps! :)

The others are correct. In case you're wondering why the site is called that . . . There is sort of a joke tradition (maybe it was real in the old days) that if a show was really bad the audience would throw rotten tomatoes to show disapproval.

Hi Jasmine Le! How are you?
In this context "rare" means unusual. It is unusual for critics (people reviewing the tv show) to give such a high rating. Squid game is a great show!
