Yesterday, I had no plans after school for the first time in a while. So I went straight home. Then, I went to the shopping mall with my mother. We drank the new Starbucks drink, and it was very delicious. I was also happy because it had been a long time since we had dinner together. I went to bed early, so I was able to sleep a lot and felt very good.

been a long time since we'd had dinner together. I went to bed early, so I was
able to sleep door a long time and afterwards felt very good.

Instead of drank I would use tried, but just to point out some improvement. The rest is perfect. Glad you had a lovely day with your mum 😊
