My high school was very strict. It not only cared about the performances of their pupils, but also about their appearance. Maybe they thought that our appearance could distract us and have a bad influence on our academic performances. We had to wear a school uniform every day at school, but the most pointless/absurd rule was that we couldn't get a bang. If we had one, the teachers would ask us to pinned them, what a ridiculous rule.
