Young people mostly listen to German rap.
Check out e.g. Apache 207, he just dropped a new album and is huge atm.
Other German singer/rappers/songwriters are Cro, Mark Foster, Juju, Trettmann.....

I guess you are searching for music to learn German so I won't suggest any house/electro/techno tracks bc. there is no lyrics.

Y'all missing the most important (and easiest) genre: Schlager. Simple Lyrics, simple to understand clear pronunciation.
