What does "hit the end of the track" in this context mean?
This company is a Ponzi scheme about to hit the end of the track.

The meaning is clear from the context but I have not heard that expression before. “End of the line” is familiar to me and has the same meaning. Both make reference to trains.

The scheme is about to crash or end. It means they are about to get caught.
