Knowing nothing about the neighbours countries When I began to study French I realized that I knew nothing about France, so I decided read about it, and it was a enriching experience. Now, when I’ve returned to study English, I’ve been aware I know nothing about UK, Britain, England... Until now, this names were the same thing for me. But not now. Since yesterday, I’m reading about these things. Later, I would like to go to Great Britain and Ireland for learning about it in situ.

Why am I learning English? I didn't want to study English for 15 years because it was like an obligation. If you are Spanish and computer programmer you must study English. I’m a little rebellious, so I didn’t study it. I studied French. :) One day, I compared an technical English book with its Spanish translation, and I realized English version was easier to understand for me. Why? I think translations lose coherence. Now, I want to read books, to see films, TV series and documentaries in their English Original Version. And also, I like to know other cultures, so, what better way than speaking English?

Here I am! Well... I didn't know how to learn to write and to speak English if I'm not rich. I have books for learn grammar and vocabulary, but... what sort of English I'm learning? I can read informatics and maths english text but... I suspect it's not very useful for meet people. :) And besides, I'm a little shy. I'd like to learn English truly, but I don't like English class in Spain, because everybody speak in Spanish all the time. I'm happy! I think this is the good time.
