Another way to understand 이다 vs 있다? The closest Ive gotten to understanding the differences between 이다 vs 있다 is 이다 "equates" (I am a student) while 있다 "exists" ( I have a student). However, it gets tricky for this English speaker because "I am" means existence. :-) What Im wondering is if there is any use for 이다 other than to equate one state with another? Can I assume that I use 이다 when I want to say "A is B" and use 있다 for every other situation? Thank you! K

Using OSTs in my learning and whatnot Ive been listening to the Dream High OST almost non stop for a week now, so today I finally decide to break it down so I further my my education (read: sing along in the car) Process goes something like this: 1. Find and copy the lyrics in Hangul 2. write it out phonetically 3. Listen along to the music (trying not to look at the romanization; want to connect the sounds with the characters without the romanization) 4. Write out a direct translation so can get a sense of the correct grammar Got the first verse down phonetically, but translating to English Ive already hit a snag two lines in (and the first line is already in English :-): 난 꿈을 꾸죠 힘들 때면 I dream 꾸죠 tough whenever I cant figure out 꾸죠 and Google translate cant either. Is it a verb with a polite ending or a marker of some sort? Any help appreciated!
