The internet of things I read a interesting and at the same time frightening article."The internet of things" is about interconnectedness of all the devices in our home. As matter of fact this technology is not new and also not surprising because we already have it. Me for example, I have my tv, laptop, cellphone, speaker and printer connected each with other my internet, so this article is providing me nothing fresh about a future idea of internet. However, what I read was a little bit further. The internet of things is telling us that of all our household appliances can be connected as one to the web. Therefore, the idea of this revolutionary technology is a fridge for example could contact and order by its self a carton of milk when this is running out. Possible or not, good or bad, useful or pointless are question we may ask, nevertheless, other question could be on table, like what is going to happen with our privacy.

Three months in Chile already Time flies, a cliche phrase which is always true. It have been already 3 months since I came to my country after living abroad, time that I spent entirely in getting used to the life that I had before the trip and of course the boring and stressful process of looking for a job. It's weird to realize now that almost all the things I found interesting, it isn't anymore and not enough with that, feeling like a total stranger in my own country is absolutely overwhelming. But anyway, I assume it will take time and I'm looking forward for the next adventure. However, for now I have to handle this transition moment.

Star Wars Three weeks ago I started watching the six Star Wars's movie again, something I do every year exactly like Ted Mosby's friends in "How I met your mother" one of my favorite tv show of all time. This is a habit I acquired since I knew this saga and extrange or not, it wasn't so many years ago, actually when I was a teenager all my friends talked about this movies but I wasn't interested at all. Moreover, my friends always preached about how can be possible that I haven't watched. I didn't know why I haven't, maybe it was just sloth of my part. One day I run across Episode II on tv and I started watching it, to be honest, I didn't like it so much, so in that time I didn't find that doozy element that all peole talk about. Few weeks later everything changed, I run across again on tv and I watched one more time the same Episode II and I started to find so beautiful the Anakin & Padme's love story. After that I decided to watch all the movies, beginning with the three original and later the Episode I. I fell in love of this universe and I know that sound so so geek. I had to wait for a year to watch the Episode III and when it was released in the cinema, I ended up watching three time. I hope the new movies can keep up with the lessence but for me Star Wars is the life and dead of Anakin Skywalker, it will be weird to watch a movie which he is not on the plot. --------------------------- Please help me with your correction, I would really appreciate it.

Soccer. It's really difficult to describe how important soccer is for Latin American people, it's something we have in our blood probably or it's just the fact we grew up with this sport and that why we care so much for it. Today as a regular weekend, I had my soccer match with my friends and I have to say it's the best week's moment, it's bracing and relaxing after a hard week of work. It's weird to think that when I was in Canada, I didn't miss to much my country, my friends and my family, but what I really missed was playing soccer. I played it of course but not many time and when the winter arrived, practice it was quite challenging, Canadian winter doens't let you to do many things outdoor but it create me the opportunity of getting involved with others sport like skating and snowboard that I actually loved. Meanwhile I'm going to continious practicing soccer, I'm 27 year old so I have to saize every moment because play any sport with a high intensity it's not a everlasting moment. --------------------------- Please help me with your correction, I would really appreciate it

Earthquake Yesterday I was watching videos on internet about Nepal devastation and just hours later National Geographic Channel was showing the last big earthquake and next tsunami in Japan in 2011. Watching all those videos made me indubitable remember the latest disaster in my country. I live in Chile so we have got through for all the calamity that the planet has put us in front. Just we have to remember that the bigest earthquake that the mankind has suffered it happened in Chile in 1960, a 9.5 earthquake hit our lands and distroyed completely cities and left thousands without home. Moreover, just 5 years ago, in 2010 a 8.9 earthquake again hit the south of Chile and shattered our cities, everything that could endure that, the tsunami ended up doing the job just a few minutes later. After all of this, only in this year, two volcanos have erupted so something is coming on in this part of the planet.

A nice talking Today I talked with my Korean friend Jee Eun by Line. We haven't talked since I left Canada around 3 months ago, that why we were on the phone for more than one hour and we didn't even realize. I miss her so much as well as all my friends that I met in Toronto, but especially my Asian friend, we were so close and there is something about asian and latin people that we get along very well. So we promised each other to try to talk more because all our communication was only by message so far.

About myself This is my writing here so a good way to start is introducing my self and tell about my life in general. I was born Chile and I've been studying English for several years, not only because it's important for my career, I'm Industrial Engineer so I need a lot the language, it's because I really love this language. Even though I had a good English level, I wanted to acquire more fluency so I decided to go to Canada. At the beginning I was so afraid, because I quited my job and started this adveture alone.Therefore, I wasn't sure if I would be able to get by in there. However, all my fears ended up just few weeks later. I felt Canada rapidly as a nice place to live and at the same time I begun meeting people for all over world and they became in very good friends and despite the distance, we still keep in contact to each other. It's hard to come back to my country and start all over again, especually when in Canada I spent the best time of my life. But now I'm back to Chile hoping some day return there or going somewhere to experience something similar.
