So this chilly, cold night I went out to get some fresh air and as I was returning home, just outside of my gate I saw this very young puppy looking for food. It was running here and there. It was literally moaning of hunger. The road was totally made of cement so it was not possible that it could find something to eat. I just couldn't ignore this. I started to feel gloomy. I could have ignored if it was a big dog but I thought a soul who has come on earth recently deserves not to sleep hungry at night. I went inside my house and got some food. I felt immense pleasure as I saw it eating like crazy. It must have been really really hungry. I really felt relieved that probably it will be able to sleep well tonight. I also felt bad that many puppies and dogs would roam around hungry this very night. But this is one of many problems I can't possibly solve alone . Please please feed a hungry dog if you can, no animal deserves to sleep hungry specially when we have destroyed so much of their natural habitat. Share this.

How do you live life?

Do you feel you should do something for the world and you should be able to bring a big change, your life should matter and people should remember you after your death?

Or do you accept that you can't change the world and focus on making your life comfortable living to fulfill your happiness? 

So this morning I went to rural vegetables marketing yard (which is one in every city) in India and I was surprised to see that farmers were selling vegetables at really really low price, much lower than I expected. Usually I buy vegetables from supermarkets. In there vegetables are sold at no less than $3/kg.

It was not very happy experience for me as most of the conversions I heard in the vegetable market ended in, "sir, please don't bargain, we don't earn much."

At starting I was also bargaining but after thinking what would be farmers earning from this after all the expenses of farming, my mind went blank, I stopped bargaining. I had heard from others that at vegetables yard, things are sold for nothing but seeing this in person was a different experience.

I guess next time I buy a glass of beer worth $8 in clubs, I will pause for a moment. 

Do you often have such experiences?

Do you get annoyed when you start a discussion either online or in real life and some people start giving their opinions just to show that they know something. I am not talking about philosophical opinions, I am talking about hardcore facts.

Yesterday I was talking with friends about need of filtering water before drinking through reverse osmosis system and this guy came along saying that we should not drink filtered water because vitamin B12 gets filtered in the process and its very important for our body. I was very surprised and I just didn't understand how can somebody give opinion without any knowledge or prior research.

So,

I am sure some of you have seen this movie. Dose this movie qualify to be anybody's favourite here?

It's considered an excellent drama movie. I am pretty young compared to the main actor in the movie but I can really relate to the story.

we all know that the entire world loves to follow america for fashion, music, science and the list goes on.

if once america says 'its ok', everybody says 'its ok'. for example. as a doctor in india, i know that we use medical drugs only after american food and drug administration [FDA] has approved them.

once i met an american lady in my hospital. it was really interesting to listen from her and i quote "jesus, young indian crowd is even more americanized than americans!"

after living in china, i can say that chinese people also love to follow american stuff.

so why do you think this is happening?

There are 2 persons, person A and person B. both are best friends. They are in their late 20s. They are really smart and highly educated. They have decent jobs with good salaries.

They like to live life at the fullest, they want to enjoy everything. They like super crazy music parties and having exotic beautiful girlfriends. They want to travel the entire world and feel the different cultures. They want to attend all famous party-festivals of the world. They like clubs and alcohol. They like scuba-diving, skiing and sky diving and have all kinds of fun possible out there.

However they happen to meet a military man. The military guy says that he was just like them but he felt empty somewhere, he was feeling like he wasn’t giving enough back to the society. So he sacrificed his fun oriented goals and his personal life to join military. Now he does not have any time to have fun because of the nature of his job, he can’t have any kind of fun but he is very happy that he is dedicating his life for his society/country.

Now person A feels guilty that he should not have all this fun while his country is always in need of public services. So he leaves his high paying job, sacrifices his personal goals and joins military for a much lower salary. Now he can barely meet his family twice a year.

Person B thinks that his personal goals are more important for him than simply joining public services. He continues to have his job and keeps having fun. Enjoys with his family. He thinks he doesn’t break and government rules and pays taxes regularly, that’s enough.

Which one are you? Person A or person B? What would you do knowing that you can serve your country more by joining public services? Would you feel a little guilty if you are person B knowing that you are just having fun but you aren’t giving back enough to your country/society?

are EDM festivals like tomorrowland and ultra music festival popular in your country?

i have not been to one but i have always loved EDM, i watch a lot of videos of this festivals, the level of energy and fashion are exceptional. its madness.

recently ultra music festival has also gained enormous success in japan and korea, first asian countries to have UMF.

have you been at one of them? how did you feel? people say tomorrowland and UMF take you to an entirely different world.

just a simple question. do you like to talk and interact with people who have a real photo of themselves as a profile picture or it dosent matter to you?

when i get a message or reply to my comment or any other kind of interaction with anybody here, first thing i notice is the profile picture. not to evaluate asthetic qualities of the person but if there is some random stuff as a profile picture or no picture at all, it seems....ummm...strange to me. i feel like i am talking to nobody.

its just my opinion though, i want to know what other people think.
