German doesn't have to be hard! 5 years of teaching experience with passion and fun From non-native to C2 in German and a PhD in German Studies - I have loved teaching language courses at three American universities for the past five years, from beginner to advanced, including at an immersive, intensive language school, so I am particularly sympathetic to the cognitive load of intensive language learning. Because I love teaching the language so much, I am currently pursuing an additional MA in Teaching German as a Foreign and Second Language, which keeps me up to date with the best and most innovative methods. Some areas of speciality are: conversation, intensive instruction, German for beginners, German literature, and Austrian literature, culture, history and dialect.
