Alexis is friendly and great at explaining new concepts while connecting it to things you already understand. I like how he was able to identify my level and present curriculum in an order that makes sense, while still giving assignments that are challenging, but not overwhelming. I highly recommend Alexis for anyone looking to learn Spanish, he's very knowledgeable!

Quite possibly the best first class with a new teacher I've ever had on Italki (and I've had a lot!) It was so great because Alexis... - Helped drive the conversation, I could just follow - Made light pointers during our conversation, but not so big that they disrupted my attempts - Summarized a very small number of weakness themes at the end, for me to focus my improvement work on - Was just overall a genuinely positive and encouraging presence in class - Clearly had a very high level of English and could easily switch for short bits when needed Couldn't be more excited for another one!
