André

I've only had 2 lessons with him but so far Andre is very good. He doesn't waste time. He gets right to the point. His lessons are very structured and professional. If you want to really learn the Portuguese language I strongly recommend Andre. It's like going to a school with him, not just some person talking to you but ACTUAL learning.

He's very good and keeping a conversation going and helping me with my mistakes. He quickly writes words I need to know so I can repeat the sentences I say correctly. And he's meeting me at my level, which is fairly advanced, but I have lots of holes in my Portuguese because I never studied it systematically. I can read and understand pretty well but sometimes don't know the correct conjugations of a verb or how to construct a complicated tense like past unreal conditional or subjunctive future. He is very patient and helpful, so I recommend him and give him 5 stars and extra sunshine!

Foi uma aula produtiva e frutífera, tbm na qual o André e eu conversamos de uma maneira relaxante. Dá pra anotar que ele é capaz e sofisticado pela docência da língua portuguesa com slides bem organizadas. ESPERO PELA PRÓXIMA AULA! :)

André is an excellent teacher. He was well organized with a plan for the session. He wrote notes of the class, including things that he was teaching me. He had very high energy and I learned a tremendous amount during a very short period of time. It made me wonder why I hadn’t started doing this earlier. I will be continuing with André and would recommend him highly.

André is an excellent, prepared teacher. The fact that he teaches professionally is obvious, but he goes the extra mile with visual aids and hand outs etc.
