¡Otra gran lección con Valentina! Ella es una gran maestra y trabaja conmigo para brindar ayuda donde la necesito, siempre haciéndola divertida e interesante también. Para mí, eso es principalmente practicar la conversación y la comprensión auditiva y aprender nuevo vocabulario. Siempre tenemos excelentes conversaciones y ella me ayuda a aprender cosas nuevas y practicar hablar sobre cosas que son relevantes para mi vida personal y mi trabajo, en lo cual necesito hablar español regularmente. ¡Gracias Valentina!

Fantastic trial lesson. I’m excited to work with her.

In my first lesson with Valentina, I spent an amazing 90 minutes! Really amazing! Valentina was very curious about my background. She had many great questions and was a studied listener. When it came to presenting materials and discussing biodiversity, Colombian and Americ politics and economics, linguistic diversity, and much more, I can tell you that Valentina was a very active speaker and listener. She provided a variety of didactic methods, including a presentation board and a video file. Valentina has a personal presence about her that I liked very much. She speaks at a moderated pace, not too slow or too fast, but rather very naturally paced. Valentina is extremely talented and motivated. But whereas this type of person sometimes can have a big ego, I found Valentina was almost egoless. She is clearly a dedicated teacher, motivated, well-balanced, and focused on her students. I will be scheduling many more hours of study with Valentina!

Abril is a wonderful teacher and I always enjoy our conversations. It’s like talking to a friend, while learning along the way. Her English proficiency is high, so she’s able to easily translate words I don’t know. She lets me decide what to work on, and gives me homework when I’ve asked for it. Most of the time we just chat, to improve my conversation skills. She is kind, encouraging, competent, and reliable. I look forward to continuing to learn Spanish with Abril. ¡Muchísimas gracias!
