Welcome everybody to my profile! I’m Nico :)
I'm an italian native speaker who's been living abroad for several years now. I lived in the UK for few months, in Spain for 7 years, then Türkiye and now in Portugal.
I'm not only a teacher but a language enthusiast too: I fluently speak Italian (of course), Spanish, English, French and Portuguese; I have some knowledge of German and Dutch and I'm studying Turkish and Modern Greek.
I really enjoy reading, doing sports (I practice calisthenics, running and kickboxing), cooking (I'm a vegetarian), walking in the nature, and travelling, obviously!

Yo como profesor
I’m an Italian native speaker, a qualified and experienced italian teacher: I have a Degree in Modern Languages and Literatures (English and French), a Degree Thesis made in the UK about the Contemporary Paganism in the United Kingdom, a Master in Literary Translation (Italian, French and Spanish), and I'm currently studying a Master Degree in Italian Philology and Modern Literature at Ca Foscari University.
I have as well the CEDILS certification from the University of Venice and the DITALS II certification from Siena University of Teaching Italian to foreigners.
I have been working as an italian teacher since 2016, in language academies, online and privately.Mis clases y método de enseñanza
(Contact me on Instagram for cheaper lessons) I will share with you a folder in Google Drive where I'll upload the documents of our lessons, homeworks, the program. During the lessons we will share the document so you'll be able to do the activities and I'll check them immediately. For the grammar explanations I'll share with you some slides too.
My teaching material is 90% original, as I personally mix texts, extracts of literature, videos, songs’ lyrics, grammar made by myself and exercises of any kind that will help you get fluent having fun!
Furthermore I can help you for the official exams (PLIDA, CELI, CILS) of Italian, levels A1, A2, B1, B2, C1.

I truly enjoy Nico's approach to the lessons. It is always a good combination of speaking, grammar, reading, writing, vocabulary & cultural information. The materials are so structured and well-prepared, and the lesson itself is always fun and a valuable time investment. Nico is always super supportive, polite, involved, and attentive to details.

Fantastic teacher. Very well prepared and attentive to any difficulties or insecurities. Nico prepares documents with exercises covering the different subjects with a good balance between grammar, vocabulary, reading and listening comprehension. Time flies in the lesson 👋🇮🇱
