Just completed my fourth lesson with Saki Sensei! Saki Sensei is an amazing teacher because of how patient and creative she is with her lessons. I really like how she structures her lesson content. Each particle is explained in such detail and related to english grammar- which makes it significantly easier to understand. I also like how she offers many chances to practice speaking throughout the class. Looking forward to more lessons and progress!

It's amazing how much my confidence in speaking has improved since taking sessions with Saki san. I used to get so nervous before each class, thinking about what we would talk about, and rehearsing things to say. Now, I feel pretty comfortable just coming to the session and talking about our weeks and anything else that comes to mind. Even though I know I don't always use the proper grammar or conjugations, Saki san never seems put off and will gently correct me when it's appropriate. She makes the session feel very safe and comfortable for me to just try and express my thoughts. I'm so thankful for her!

Today, Saki san and I talked about a recent trip I went on as well as a museum exhibit she visited recently. It was a lot of fun sharing about our experiences. Saki san is always genuinely interested in what I have to say and that gives me courage to try to express myself. Though I stumble many times in our conversations, she is incredibly patient and kindly supports me as I struggle to get my thoughts out. Thank you, Saki san!

Saki-san is always patient and very helpful and friendly during our lessons. She happily repeats parts that I either don’t understand or don’t know how to pronounce, but she’s very encouraging each time!
