Patient and methodical teacher. 태원샘 is able to guide students to improve their weaknesses. Class is always fun and challenging. My Korean has consistently improved since starting regular classes with 태원샘.

광호 선생님 (aka 태원샘, aka Kevin) is the best Korean teacher ever! After 1.5 years of learning Korean with him, I am confident, conversational, and continuing my studies! If you haven't booked a lesson with him yet, you're missing out!

This is my 4th lesson with Kwangho - highly recommended! Knowledgeable, organized and creates lessons around your goals. He is laser focused on accelerated progress with pronunciation and speaking which is just what I need!

태원샘 explains things very clearly. He's really helping me decode sentences. Also, he has a depth of knowledge about many different languages. He can connect Korean vocabulary to other more familiar words. This is helping my vocabulary retention. It's been hard for me to remember words since there are few cognates with English or Spanish (the 2 languages I know well), but he's making this much easier.

Very knowledgeable and excellent at working with older students who speak multiple other languages. Really impressed at how he adapted on the fly to specific observations and needs. Very tailored, patient, encouraging, even when I sounded stupid. Cheers.

It has been a while since I've started to learn Korean so I was a bit hesitant to book with any professor on italki; however, 태원 교수님 was very welcoming and friendly. I booked a trial lesson to see if we could discuss my future learning goals and by the end of it I was extremely motivated to book my next class! Highly recommend!
