Zen

Zen is top notch! He is consistently well prepared and genuinely open to discussion. In our sessions, we worked through texts by Plato, Thucydides, and Gorgias, among others. He gives me handout every time after class, with explanations in Greek. When we were reading difficult texts like Thucydides, he went out of his way to write paraphrases in simpler Greek to help with my study. I would highly recommend studying Greek with him at any level.

Zen has been a wonderful teacher, who I can only recommend heartily. During class, Zen primarily speaks in Greek, granting amble opportunity to hear the language used comprehensibly. As we slowly work our way through Athenaze, Zen comes prepared with many questions that have deepened my understanding of the text, and grammatical explanations as necessary (sometimes also given in a Greek).
