Yo como profesor
My goal as a teacher is to create a space in which students have the opportunity to have an enriching experience that transcends academic boundaries. Especially as ELE teachers, I think that the cultural aspects of our country and of Spanish in general are inherent to teaching. From my personal experience I know that learning a new language implies acquiring a new vision of life and expanding our consciousness to a world of new possibilities and that is what I always try to convey to my students.Mis clases y método de enseñanza
I am a very flexible teacher and the first thing I do is to identify the level and needs of my students.
Likewise, I really like that my students suggest topics to develop the classes and generate spaces for dialogue on various subjects such as cultural differences.
Also, I am from Colombia so you will listen to my Colombian accent and I will teach you local vocabulary. However, I always try to contextualize and explain other ways of expressing something that exist in other Spanish-speaking countries.Mi material didáctico

Profesora de EspañolCurrently, I am a teacher at a rural public school, where I work with teenagers between 11 and 17 years old. I teach Spanish to students in 10th and 11th grade (the last two years of high school in Colombia) and some additional subjects such as English and Ethics in other grades; as part of the adaptation to the context in which I work.
2021 - 2023
Profesora de primariaI worked in two campuses of the rural school where I studied as a child, teaching all subjects from Preschool to 5th grade. This experience gave me the opportunity to share and learn from each community, making it an incredibly enriching experience.
2020 - 2021
Profesora de EspañolI had the opportunity to work for an online school in my home country. I was in charge of teaching Spanish for any grade, from primary to high school. It was a great opportunity to learn and grow. Besides, I worked with wonderful teachers. However, I decided to quite so I can work in a school in the countryside.

Tutora de españolMy firth experience teaching Spanish as a second languages was when I was still a college student and I have de opportunity to teach Spanish to the exchange students during one semester. It was a wonderful opportunity and it make me realized that is something that I really enjoy doing.
