Fujio Hayama

I've been taking lessons with Hayama-sensei for a few months now. I think I have written a review before but thought I would write another. Hayama-sensei is very knowledgable and capable when it comes to teaching Japanese. He has been very helpful in my aim to improve my language skills. I especially recommend anyone who wants to work in Japan to take lessons with Hayama-sensei.

This is my 2nd class with Hayama-san. He is very patient and explains things clearly. He provided materials way in advance for preparation. He aligns his explanations based on your level and understanding. I look forward to future sessions.

Mr. Hayama is patient, knowledgable and exceeds at explaining complex grammar and vocabulary in simple terms in Japanese. When working through our learning material in lessons, I am encouraged to bring my own thoughts and summaries. That teaching style has already led to a noticeable improvement in my reading comprehension within only a few lessons. He even takes his time to write feedback after every lesson, which in turn motivates me to devote more of my free time to studying Japanese. Further, Mr. Hayama's knowledge goes beyond teaching Japanese and as such, every lesson so far has been a new learning about Japan's history and culture for me.
